It is our principle objective to produce world class decorating products and promote them with conviction and dexterity. In striving to continuously lead our market, Harris have embraced some of the highest recognition and accolades.

In 1961, the company was awarded the Royal Warrant by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as the preferred manufacturer of paint brushes and decorators tools to the Royal Sandringham Estate. Harris still holds the Royal Warrant to this day, demonstrating a level of product excellence suitable for a Royal household.

“Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services for at least five years to certain members of the Royal Family. They have always been regarded as a mark of excellence and quality, and are highly prized.”
The Royal Warrant Holders Association

Royal Warrants have a notable history dating back to 1155 when the first Royal Charter was awarded by Henry II. During in the 15th century the Royal Warrant of Appointment was introduced to recognise royal tradesmen for their service, and only in the late 18th century was it permissible to use the Royal Arms on buildings and stationary. Today, there are strict rules governing the application of the Royal Arms, although it can be applied to stationary, buildings, vehicles, advertising, and packaging. For more information visit the website of the Royal Warrants Holders Association (www.royalwarrant.org).

We are proud to regularly receive industry awards and commendations for everything from product innovation through to complete service provision. One of our more recent awards was the prestigious British Hardware Federations ‘Supplier of the Year 2004', which was voted for by our customers across various functions including product performance, customer service, logistics, and marketing support.
